Contra Costa Generating STation

Challenge
Repositioning an 86-acre decommissioned industrial site with world-class but underutilized infrastructure, including a deep-water shoreline, an active rail spur, and heavy power facilities.
Solution
GRP Brownfields successfully leased half of the site for shipping container storage and repair. The remaining areas are actively being redeveloped for a critical infrastructure project; leveraging infrastructure and proximity as a nexus to between San Francisco, Port of Stockton, and Port of Sacramento.
Results
The site is now a hub for logistics and infrastructure, with its remaining sections poised to support further critical projects, ensuring long-term economic and operational benefits.
